After a night at the cinema, Thomas and his girlfriend Astrid случайно stumble upon a violent street incident: a woman is being attacked. While a stranger steps in to help, Thomas freezes—paralyzed, unable to act. Overcome by guilt and shame, he begins to question his own masculinity, his courage, and who he really is.
Later that night, sent out alone to a nearby kiosk, Thomas witnesses another threatening situation. This time, he doesn’t hesitate. He intervenes. But the moment spirals out of control—Thomas lashes out, striking the attacker down, leaving him unconscious… or possibly worse.
Back in the apartment, his hands covered in blood, a quiet realization sets in: Thomas has crossed an invisible line. Driven by an inner compulsion to prove himself—to Astrid, to the world, to his own fractured sense of identity—he has become something he feared.
